"Trade software" is used for two unrelated markets. This page is field-service
administration software for UK trade businesses — plumbing, electrical, heating
and air conditioning, cleaning, appliance repair, pest control, security and
general maintenance. It is not a stock, forex or commodities trading platform.

## What a UK trade business gets

- Enquiries become customer records carrying the service address and the job
  history, so the second visit to an address starts with what was done on the
  first. Out-of-hours requests arrive as pending, are approved or declined, and
  an approved request converts into a job with the customer detail attached.
- Quotes are built from your own price book, as a single price or as three tiers
  on the same quote. The customer approves online in their own browser with a
  one-time code sent to their email plus a typed or drawn signature, and the
  approved quote converts into a scheduled job with its line items intact.
- One drag-and-drop dispatch board covers every trade on the team, so a
  multi-trade firm runs a single diary. Booking the same person twice is flagged
  before the day starts.
- Job cards carry the address, scope, notes and site history to the field.
  Photos, notes, time and materials attach to the record as the work happens,
  with parts drawn from van stock so job cost is known before invoicing.
- Invoices are generated from the completed job with the quoted lines, the
  materials used and the time recorded already on them. VAT is applied per line
  from the tax type you configure and set as your default. Invoice status is
  tracked from raised through to paid.
- Accounting handover is a QuickBooks-formatted or Xero-formatted CSV file
  produced from invoices and payments, ready for your accountant to import.
- Customers install nothing: a link with no account and no password opens the
  quote, the visit and the invoice, and they are emailed when a job is
  completed, rescheduled or cancelled.
- The account is set up by trade at signup, so job types and the service
  catalogue arrive in the language of that trade rather than empty.

  checklist, before and after photos, notes, job status changes, the customer's

  and syncs by itself when coverage returns.

  order, so less of the day goes on driving between jobs and promised appointment
  times stay where they were promised.
